I was busy copying the Standard 6 analysis item for excel when out of sudden Cikgu Awang gave me this particular letter from PPD.
The title is ERATA ENGLISH EXCEL PAPER 2 SECTION C.
Seriously,this is my very first time to hear the erata word.
So I assume the word erata means correction as section C punya contoh jawapan memang salah.And I thought it is a Malay word and kagum dengan diri senirik for having a new Malay vocab.
Then,sambil-sambil I nak muntah dok key-in analysis result Standard 6 yang tak berkesudahan tuh, I amek Kamus Dewan kat atas meja Che Nie.Aktiviti melapang minda kata orang- and simply checked the word again.Well,there is no such word in there.
Due to my curiosity - aku ialah pembaca Nancy Drew ye kecik-kecik dulu.Eventhough curiosity kill the cat,Mak Cik tetap gigih search the word.
Guess what?
Errata is an English word and it is a plural for erratum.
Erratum = An error in printing or writing ,especially such an error noted in a list of corrections and bound into a book.
Agak-agak kalo I gih betulkan tajuk surat neh kat PPD derang pindahkan I ke Pulau Banggi tak?
Tapik I kan cek the word in Kamus Dewan Edisi Ketiga.Maybe latest edisi the word erata dah diBahasa Melayukan kan?
Apa masalah kamu neh Cik Huda?
Siapkan analisis excel tuh dendiam plis.

hahaha..dalam kes keja I skang, meninggalkan sikap ingin tahu yang amat tinggi adalah dimaafkan..sbb, nnt lg I nk tau..lg I kena wat..kahkahkah..tp sbb sikap dan semangat ingin tahu jugaklah I baca entry u..tgk tajuk pon dah rasa ingin tahu..syabas!

erata was never a Malay word..pencabulan bahasa neh!!!
(macamlah tulis kejap melayu kejap english tak mencabul bahasa..bad me, bad me..;p)

p/s:Pulau Banggi is in Kudat.Dh dekat2 Phillipinos tuh.So I better reserve my erratum kan?
