It was the first working day after Hari Raya break for husband.After sending him off to work I returned to the bedroom, intended to have a nap. I went to the bathroom and noticed the blood stain.I called my sister and a few friends, asking about their delivery sign while contemplating about telling my husband.
I remained calm as my due date was a week away and I didnt feel any pain with the exception of the blood stain that ensured me that I might deliver in any time.Hazrul returned home after some time. Both of us sempat lagi makan nasik lamuni, sembang-sembang, angkat barang nak balik Perlis as I decided to deliver in Perlis. Then we stopped by this particular clinic to check either we cud make it to Perlis, mana tau takot terdeliver kat highway tak pasai-pasai ja.
Doctor checked and said that I already 8cm dillated.Hah!!!

Doctor suruh masok labor room tros. tapik kalo dah 8cm dillated mau i dah bersalin. Since both of us decided to have our 1st child at goverment hospital, kami patah balik ke BM Hospital as BM Hospital allows husband to enter the labor room.Nurse checked and said that I was only 4cm dillated but still dimasokkan ke labor room tros.
As I dun feel any contraction and hardly any pain, the doctor need to rupture my water bag manually.Manually ok!Hoho.Hazrul entered and accompanied me. Said one of the nurse," Ni bleh sembang-sembang, senyum-senyum lagi lambat lagi ni. Kalo dah nak bersalin dengaq suara orang pon rasa nak penampaq."I was given a med to fasten my contraction.After 1 hour, I was 6cm dillated.That's when I started to feel the pain.As I told the nurse, she said " Alhamdulillah,sakit jugak.Ni baru senang nak bersalin." Time tuh dah start baca doa Nabi Yunus ngan ayat Qursi tak putus2.Hazrul kept holding my hand and recited surah Qursi while caressing my head.Pastuh suami said, Umi kan strong girl.
Unable to hold the pain any longer,I tanya nurse, bleh tak I nak deliver - sopan kan? Nurse checked and said baru 7cm lebih.Tunggu sket lagik.Umi kan supermak kata husband. Tapik pastuh tak sampai 8cm jugak I cakap I nak bersalin jugak.Sakit sangat dah.
After 3 attemption, the hero kuar. 1st attempt gagal, mana la I reti nak curi nafas. Husband kat sebelah cakap, macam berenang, curi nafas. Hehe. 2nd time gagal jugak.Third time memang I sungguh-sungguh and in a blink of an eye tetiba nampak baby kat depan dah.Yang I dengar sebelom tuh Hazrul cakap sket lagi Umi. Tetiba dia dah cakap hensemnya baby kita.
Perasaan???Undescriable.Nampak ja dia depan mata, air mata berjurai-jurai.Hazrul kiss dahi and pipi and said congrates Umi.Saat paling bahagia dalam dunia was when the nurse put him on my chest and Babah azankan dia.
I entered the labor room at 11.00 am and delivered at 2.28pm.I was told that was one easy and short delivery for the 1st baby. Tak tahu la macam mana orang yang sakit sehari-dua, 3 jam tuh pon rasa sangat lama.Alhamdulillah.

cam pantas ja proses delivery u. alhamdulillah rezeki. dah la sebelum beranak sempat lg meriangkan diri. mika xmau jd anak perlis. huhu.
Cam biasa, aku nangis lagi baca entri bersalin nih. Congrats Dik Hud.. Touching kan bila hubby cium dahi lps bersalin and heard our baby crying... Nikmat...
